LUNCH MENU CHANGE: Mon., Dec. 10 will be a Beef Taco and not a Chicken Taco.
TOYS FOR TOTS: We are again collecting toys for the annual Toys for Tots campaign. If you have a new, unwrapped toy, please drop it off in the Administration Building (near Mrs. Atkins), the Elementary Building foyer, or Mrs. Rose’s room in the High School. Thank you so much for your support of this program!
SECONDARY EXAM SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, December 19 - 1st, 3rd, and 5th hour exams
Thursday, December 20 - 2nd, 4th and 6th hour exams
NHS TUTORING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE, THURS., DEC. 20 LEADING UP TO WINTER BREAK.
SCHOOL BANK: The school bank is supported by Independent Bank of Cedar Springs. Sixth grade students interviewed and were hired by Independent Bank. Students may open an account (and it is an official Independent Bank account) or use an existing Independent Bank account. Every other Friday during banking hours, students can make deposits or withdrawals from their account. Please consider teaching your children about finances while supporting the CTA sixth grade students who are working in positions as bank tellers and marketers! Look for more information to come home with students about this financial learning opportunity!
CHARGERS SPELLING CLUB WILL NOT TAKE PLACE ON MONDAY, DEC. 10 DUE TO THE CTA STAFF HOLIDAY GATHERING.
TICKETS FOR THE FALL PLAY, “A CHRISTMAS CHAOS” ARE ON SALE NOW in the office with Mrs. Middlebrook. Tickets are $5 now or $6 at the door. Come see a wonderful, hilarious, and chaotic version of the classic Charles Dickens novel, A Christmas Carol filled with two Tiny Tims, a Scrooge who believes he is the world’s gift to the stage, and ghosts who get stage fright! You have two opportunities to see the show. Friday, December 14th or Saturday, December 15th at 7 p.m. Hope to see you there!
FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT:
MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR CONCERT on Monday, December 17th at the Cedar Springs High School auditorium at 7 pm. Students need to arrive at 6:15 p.m.
Attire expectations for middle school
Boys: White, button down shirt, black dress pants, black belt, black socks, black dress shoes - Bow tie will be provided
Girls: White, nice blouse (no sleeveless), black flats - black skirt will be provided
Attire expectations for high school
Boys: White, button down shirt, black dress pants, black socks, black belt, black dress shoes - Black vest and bow tie will be provided
Girls: Black flats - Black dress will be provided

Monday - Holiday Movie Day (Dress up as your favorite holiday movie character)
Tuesday- North Pole Day (Dress up as Santa, an elf or a reindeer)
Wednesday- Holiday Color Day (red, green, gold or silver)
Thursday- Holiday Sweater Day
Friday - Family Photo Day (Wear your flannel shirts!)
Monday: The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (Dress like a Dr. Seuss character)
Tuesday: North Pole (Dress like a reindeer, elf, Santa or Mrs. Claus)
Wednesday: Holiday Color: Red/Green Day
Thursday: Holiday Shirt/ Sweater Day
Friday: Pajama Day
International Exchange Student Host Family Needed: We still have one student who is still in need of a permanent host family. Binh from Vietnam is attending CTA for his senior year of High School. He is with a welcome family, but would like to be placed with a local family in the school district. He enjoys playing soccer, sports, hanging out with friends and watching American movies.
