OFFICIAL PESTICIDE APPLICATION NOTIFICATION FROM CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIES ACADEMY: This district practices Integrated Pest Management (IPM), an approach to pest control that reduces pest populations while minimizing pesticide applications.  After trying non-chemical means to control a current pest problem, a pesticide has been deemed necessary. On Jan 24, 2020, an application of diatomaceous earth will be applied at the high school, room 202 for the control of ants. We are using diatomaceous earth because it works mechanically opposed to chemically.  The application will be over a weekend to minimize exposure. If you have questions please contact Daniel Clark, Operations Director, at 616-263-7172.

2020 US CENSUS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: The U.S. Census factors in with the count for State of Michigan Schools by distributing federal assistance for School Lunch Programs, Special Education Grants, Title 1 and teaches students the importance and value of statistical literacy. It provides a fair representation and taking part is a civic duty. Visit 2020census.gov/jobs if you are 18 or older and a U.S. citizen.
