CTA GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS (9/30-10/4)

CHARACTER EDUCATION FOCUS: HARD WORKING (WORK ETHIC)

COUNT DAY IS WED., OCT. 2: Please make every effort to have your child here on this day! If he/she will be absent, please be sure to contact student services 616-696-4905 or katkins@ctachargers.org so your child is excused. Our school funding is based on count day students being here!

W.I.N. TIME/STUDENT SUCCESS TEAM:  Be sure to check your child’s folder to learn more about how students are being challenged at ALL levels!

HIGH SCHOOL FIELD TRIP:  High school students will be visiting the Gerald R. Ford Museum to participate in their “Unlock the Character Code” program. In this program, students will tour the museum looking for information to solve their clues. Each answer opens a padlock on the team’s locked box. Students will be gone from school from 9 a.m. -  2p.m. on the day of their field trip. Freshman and sophomores will be visiting the museum on Sept. 30. Juniors and seniors will be visiting on October 18th. Students will need to bring a packed lunch on the day they will be going to the museum. If students cannot bring one, please let your student’s FIT teacher know as soon as possible so we can ask our kitchen staff to prepare one for your student.

MOBILE DENTIST: Mobile Dentist forms will be coming home in the next week.  The Mobile Dentist will be here on Oct 1.

YEARBOOK CLUB: Are you in middle or high school and interested in helping create our 2019-2020 yearbook? Yearbook Club will be meeting every other Wednesday from 2:50 - 3:05 p.m. in Ms. Rose’s room.
