Veterans Day Celebration

Today, we opened our doors to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. This special event brought together veterans from our CTA families for a morning filled with gratitude, celebration, and community.

The day began with a warm welcome as veterans joined students and staff for cider and donuts in the school café. Laughter, stories, and heartfelt conversations filled the room as students had the opportunity to personally thank those who’ve served. It was a beautiful reminder of the personal connections and sacrifices that make this day so meaningful.

Following the reception, veterans were honored with CTA’s traditional Walk of Honor — a powerful moment that truly embodies our school’s spirit of respect and appreciation. Students and staff lined the hallways, waving flags and holding handmade banners filled with messages of thanks. Applause echoed through the building as each veteran made their way through, greeted with smiles, cheers, and gratitude from every corner of the school.

The Veterans Day celebration is more than a tradition at CTA — it’s a lesson in gratitude and remembrance. It gives our students the opportunity to connect the history they learn about in the classroom to real lives and to understand the importance of service, courage, and community.

We extend our deepest thanks to all veterans and their families, especially those connected to the CTA community. Your service and sacrifice inspire us every day.

Thank you for being a part of this meaningful day with us — and be sure to check out more photos from the celebration.
