Creative Technologies Academy is proud to recognize several outstanding student-athletes who earned All Conference honors this fall. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to their teams truly represent what it means to be a Charger.
Varsity Volleyball: Calyssa Brinley
A returning captain, Calyssa Brinley once again brought strong leadership and consistency to the court. Known for her commanding defensive play, she also stepped into a new role as a setter late in the season and adapted with ease. Coach Stacy Rowland shared, “She consistently commands the court as a defense specialist. Later in the season she stepped into a new role as a setter, and adapted to that change with grace. She is a force to be reckoned with!”
Varsity Volleyball: Summar Rowland
As a freshman and co-captain, Summar Rowland made an immediate impact. She recorded 50 aces this season, ranking her 7th in Michigan for aces by a freshman. She is known for her powerful attacks and blocks, and is already a major contributor to the team’s success. “I’m pretty excited to make First Team All Conference. Thanks to my coach/mom for pushing all of us this season,” Summar shared. Coach Rowland added, “Her main strengths are her blocks and her powerhouse attacks. I’m excited to see what the next three years bring!”
Varsity Soccer: Micah Rypma
Micah Rypma brought energy and leadership to the soccer field this season. His competitive drive elevates those around him, and his growth as both an athlete and student has been remarkable to watch. Coach Connor Russell said, “Micah’s competitive level rubs off on his teammates, and is a model teammate for the squad around him. Micah continues to grow as a student and an athlete, and I am really excited to see where that takes him.”
Proud to Be Chargers
