Symphony

Creative Technologies Academy is proud to highlight Luca Mayo, who recently performed in all four shows of the Grand Rapids Symphony Holiday Pops as part of the Grand Rapids Youth Chorus. She sang in the Friday evening performance, both Saturday shows, and the Sunday matinee, standing front and center in the chorus.

Luca’s participation in this major community event reflects the strengths we strive to build in every CTA student.

Excellence in Action

Opportunities like the Holiday Pops invite students to stretch their abilities in new ways. Luca’s involvement shows her willingness to take on new challenges and share her talents with a wider audience—an example of CTA students pursuing excellence beyond the classroom.

Character and Responsibility

Luca is known at CTA for being dependable, kind, and thoughtful. Those qualities carry over into everything she chooses to be part of, including her work with the Grand Rapids Youth Chorus. Her character shows in the way she represents herself, her family, and our school.

Engagement with the Community

Performing with the Grand Rapids Symphony connects students to one of West Michigan’s most cherished traditions. CTA encourages students to participate in opportunities that help them grow, build confidence, and contribute to their community. Luca’s experience is a strong example of that connection.

Celebrating Our Students

We are proud of Luca and all students who pursue their interests—whether in the arts, athletics, academics, leadership, or service. Their achievements remind us of the diverse gifts and passions within our school community.
